Veterinary Member: the Faculty of Homeopathy

Welcome to my Website. Here you will find information about my Practice and the Therapies offered, as well as information, articles, news and details of my books.

My Veterinary Practice is committed to providing a personal and professional holistic service to the public and to veterinary colleagues for primarily small animals and horses, offering mainly homeopathy and acupuncture, but also advice on herbal and nutraceutical therapies.

My Human Practice focuses on homeopathy using the modern methods of analysis and treatment that have revolutionized this therapy on the last decade.

Please note:  I am only able to treat animals under my care. If you are not able to bring your pet to the clinic, or are not close enough for me to visit your animal, then search on www.bahvs.com for your nearest qualified homeopathic vet.

Mirroring the world of Human medicine, alternative and complementary therapies are becoming more popular in the animal world. Conventional medicine is very good at treating emergency and acute illness, but has less success with long-standing diseases that keep re-occurring, often when the drugs are stopped. Using homeopathy and acupuncture it is possible in many cases to return the body to health, and alongside good nutrition are an important way of maintaining optimal well-being.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ring (see communications note) I would be pleased to talk and arrange an appointment to see me at my clinic.

NEWS: Mark, along with colleague Anne Wood, will be opening the South Downs Veterinary Consultancy in March 2010 as a part of the Payless4Vets project (aiming to provide inexpensive health solutions for animals). Mark and Anne will be working together on joint projects providing veterinary services for Poultry, Gamebirds, Fish and Deer. See www.southdownsvets.co.uk for more information.

Note: Any advice given on this website is in good faith, and the author cannot be held responsible for the application of any of the recommendations contained herein unless the patient is under his direct care. This information is not meant to supplant that of your own veterinary surgeon, but to work in parallel with them in a complementary fashion for the health of the animals concerned. If you have any reason to be concerned about your animal's well being, please consult your primary care veterinary surgeon.

Please also note, animal cases are only seen by referral, or with the agreement of the primary care Vet.
